"Отпуска нет на войне", первый русский фик с начала списка. По правилам современных войн, их можно вести только с помощью солдат и личного оружия, которое они могут унести с собой. В боевых действиях используются клоны, создаваемые по образу одних и тех же людей. Клоны, существующие одновременно, соединены общим сознанием, имеют общую память и разделяют всё, пережитое друг другом. Шерлок получает один из клонов Джона в качестве испытательного объекта и обнаруживает, что в отличие от остальных клонируемых солдат, у того сохранена свобода воли и он сознательно выбирает оставаться частью проекта, где он, по сути, выполняет роль пушечного мяса.
Очень хороший сюжет, к сожалению фик маленький и не подробный, с лёгким рейтингом, но очень интересный. Большинство фиков от автора интересные.

Sherlock from the alternative universe, who met John at 24, fell in love and was married to him, after John`s death is being propositioned by Moriarty to play a game with him and as a prise to get to another AU, where John is alive yet. Very interesting parts mixed with some dull parts, especially when author recites the canon plot parts. A lot of cool stuff, big plot turns and little details alike. Lovely angst and it all seemed to me much more fair, than canonic stuff. Moriarty is brilliant. Not much graphic, but overall very cool. Currently IP.

"Song of the Dauntless Knight", a wonderful medieval story, almost perfect in everything from the main plot to small details, but characters are somewhat frustratingly impersonal and distant, all of them. It`s also not very keen on the intrigues in the plot. Like Moriarty, and Mycroft and Sherlock aren`t exactly doing anything clever, or very interesting. But Otherwise it is a good solid story, with castles and knights and tournaments, captivity and dauntless resque, angst and love.

Disturbingly dubious morality of characters made them so unlikable, that their demise was a logical and welcome plot turn for me . But the story has some interesting plot turns and the world building is just splendid, quite memorable. John`s working at the secret facility containing (and studying) paranormal objects, after encountering and successfully dealing with some PA in Afganistan. There he meets Sherlock, as a collegue, who actually turns out to be one of the subjects under containment.

"All We Ought To Ask", this fic uses a certain victorian novel, as plot inspiration. John is a cleric settling down in a quiet parish, prepairing to get married (and hating the quietness and domesticity of it all), and then he meets a neibourhood aristocrat and religious philosopher. An unlikely friendship ensues and prospers, turning into a romance. But one cannot embrace a person and not be affected by this persons beliefs. Sherlock`s friendship turns out to be too enlightening for cleric`s good, and John`s fate ends up in pieces along with his entire life.
The plot is just amazing, but unfortunately the fabric of the story is not so much, dialogs are dull and characters do not seem alive, though they should with a plot as dramatic, as this. The fic is reach with various recearch info, a lot of intereting things to learn.

"Cages", sadly unfinished, but it all was getting quite interesting. A Slavery AU, where John is discharged into slavery to pay his own gambling debts, but plucked from processing by Mycroft before he had a chance to be properly trained into the role. He is given to Sherlock, who is forbidden from having slaves, because too many died, while being in his possession. John tries to cope with his oh-so-new role in life, while having to survive Sherlock, who first doen`t want him, when doesn`t believe John is actually a slave, but Mycroft`s agent sent to spy on him, and when realises his mistake and gets overwhelmingly fascinated with the unusual slave. In the mean time it looks like someone had set Sherlock up and all his slaves were actually murdered, and Mycroft is trying to provoke the murderer to act again by using John as a bait, and that`s the reason he needed John untrained and not broken, hence quite capable to fight back and defend himself.
The story was a bit aimless in the beginning, but it had become quite inventive, not your usual boring retelling of the series events. And the feel of characters is quite good. I liked these Sherlock and John. Reminded of the 'Collared' a bit, but with more morally steady John. Alas it never got far in the story, not to mention finished.
